Top Autumn Blushers

As we're well into the swing of autumn, I thought I'd share
with you my favourite blushes to wear in autumn. Because my foundation tends to be medium-full coverage, I like to add a little life back into my
makeup with blush. I find in the colder months it gives a nice flushed finish
and doesn't leave me looking bland! So here are the blushes I typically reach
to at this time of year.
Colourpop - Pegacorn
I almost always prime my blusher with a cream blush or blush
stain. It doesn't always last the whole day but I find for the most part it
enhances the colour and makes anything last that little bit longer. If I'm not
wearing my Kiko bouncy blushes, then I tend to go for this. you have to be
really careful not to go over board with this blush. I use a stippling brush by
Real Techniques but often find stippling doesn't give much pay off. Instead
I'll swipe it around gently and it gives a nice glowing finish. It looks
natural and doesn't look cakey at all.
Kiko soft touch blush - 105
For me, this blush is an all year favourite. It's a
beautiful mauve shade and is one of those that can almost give the illusion of
a contoured look but still looks really great. If you're not a fan of pink
blush shades then this one is perfect! I love the texture and finish of these,
they never look powdery or heavy.
Sleek - Flushed
As daunting as this looks, it really reminds me of autumn.
It's very pigmented and probably more wearable for people with deeper skin
tones. I apply this very lightly and it works well for me. Sleek blushes are
great value and really good quality. Once you get used to applying with a light
hand you can easily wear this daily!
Elf - Mellow Mauve
Last but not least is an oldie but a goodie. I used this
blush to death at one point that this is actually my second one. Although it's
not something I reach to as much now, I still wanted to include it purely
because it's a nice cheap alternative. I find this is a little chalky at times
so if you have large visible pores you might want to skip this! The colour, as
the name would suggest, is a mauve and looks good on medium skin tones. I find
when I'm too tanned it can sometimes look chalky. But for the price it's a good
option!
The Balm - Cabana Boy
This was my favourite a year or two ago. It's a dark mauvey
pink which I have recently found that it can look slightly ashy on me -
possibly because I'm more tanned than I usually would be this year. This blush
is super pigmented and a little goes a long way! I love how big the pan size is
and the packaging makes it travel friendly. It comes with a decent sized mirror
which I find a lot of blushes tend to lack! Overall, a good blush to have!
I hope you enjoyed this post, I'd love to know what your
favourite autumn blush shade is!

Cabana Boy and Flushed look gorgeous :) I don't actually own many berry-toned blushers so definitely will have to check some of these out
