Cream and Powder blush Combo #1

Layering blushes has been my favourite thing to do this summer. Not only does it make the product last longer on your face but it only helps enhance the colour and make it stand out just that little bit more.

Milani - Luminoso

KIKO Rebel Bouncy Blush - 02 Adorable Pink

Left to Right: Milani Luminoso, KIKO Rebel Bouncy Blush 02 Adorable pink, Layered together
There are a few blush combos that I use, so I thought I'd share my most recent favourite one! It's using one of my favourites that I have already mentioned on the blog before; the Rebel Romantic Bouncy Blush by Kiko in the shade 02 Adorable Pink. This colour alone is so pretty and adds a
nice peachy glow. But paired with the perfect shimmery highlighter-style blush, Baked Blush in Luminoso by Milani makes a match made in heaven. They compliment each other so well where the Bouncy Blush by Kiko keeps the peachy tones alive and adds that glow, where as Luminoso, well adds that luminosity and helps to highlight the cheekbones.

Of course in the swatches the colours are quite intense and do not look like this when applying with a brush on to the cheeks. You have to use a light hand with luminoso as it is very pigmented. If you layer these products with a fixing spray then you're pretty much set to go for the day!

I really want to do more of these posts, let me know in the comments below what blushes you love to pair together!

Love Always,

  1. I love Milani Luminoso! I need to play around with blusher layering, I think :) the only time I've done it is when I've been wearing makeup then touched it up later with a different colour haha

    1. It's such a good shade, right! Haha, it's so good for long lasting makeup! Especially if you're in the heat or aren't able to touch up!

      Thank you for reading :)
