Top 4 Orange Lip Products for Spring/Summer

During the warmer months, we often wear less makeup to get a fresh, 'natural' look. So to even that out and add a little colour to your face. I like to add a bright lip to my look and right now I'm loving orange lipsticks! I've picked out a few that I really like, from easy wearable lip colours to the bright daring ones!

If you're someone who usually likes wearing a bright red, but want something a little different, this colour is perfect for you! It's a nice orange toned red that looks so pretty on so many skin colours. This is my first ever Kiko lipstick and I am really impressed with the formula and pigmentation. It's only £6.90 but can easily be compared to higher end lipsticks that have a similar payoff. I like to wear this lipsticks in the evenings as I personally find I can't pull it off in the day time.
I adore this lipstick, I wore it a lot last summer and have recently fallen back in love with it. It's a goregous pale peachy/coral shade that just adds a touch of colour. It's a creamsheen finish, which means it gives you a touch of colour but feels super moisturising - I like that I don't have to worry about it going on my teeth or smudging all around my lips, which is a very important factor to me when it comes to lipsticks. This lipstick is the most expensive out of all the above lipsticks (£15.50), but everyone knows how well mac lipsticks perform, plus the finish is perfect for  the warmer months.

This chubby stick is the most 'orange-like' colour out of all 4 and I suprisingly really like it! It's a slightly toned down orange in the sense that it doesn't look neon  on the lips. But I like to apply a thin layer on my lips and then smudge it out with my fingers. You still get that orange colour but with a longer lasting power. I find with the colorburst sticks, they can be quite drying, so patting it in with my fingers is what I think is the best way to apply them, They're £7.99, which isn't too bad considering how much product you get in them!

Finally, a lip gloss. I know that lipsticks aren't for everyone and sometimes just a touch of colour can still be just as effective! The butter glosses are amazing! They have a fair amount of pigment in them which actually lasts on your lips. The gloss consistency seems quite stick at first, but it's not as tacky as other lip glosses. The colour of this gloss is very similar to the Revlon colourburst in Audacious but just in a slightly transparent gloss form. I also have a post where I've swatched this product on my lips - click here.
