Valentine's eye makeup
20:10:00
I've actually been wearing this look quite a few times the past few weeks and I initially was going to post it when I first created it but realised it would be a perfect valentines look.
Now, I know some girls like to go very neutral on valentines and others like a bold smokey eye, but personally I would go for a simple look like this that doesn't take too long to do but still gives you that sultry look. All the shadows I used are from Makeup Geek, but of course you can use any shadows that you have.
I had applied Mac Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NC42 under my eyes and a little over my lid to make sure my shadows lasted well. I then mixed beaches & Cream along with Peaches smoothie and then blended these using the Blank Canvas Cosmetics E26 brush all over the lid, trying not to go too much above the crease. Next I took Creme Brulee onto the Zoeva 227 brush and put this into the crease and a touch of latte just to darken up the crease slightly - latte is optional. Next for the main star of the show Bitten - this is may favourite shade and can really change your makeup look. I used the Real Techniques base shadow brush to apply this mainly on the outer V and then went back in with a clean Zoeva 227 brush to blend this all together. Finally I finished off with applying Vanilla Bean in the inner corner and blended slightly towards the middle using the Real Techniques accent brush. I deciced to vamp up the bottom water line by using the Zoeva 322 brush and used Cocoa Bear to darken it up alongside a bit of Rimmel's soft kohl eyeliner in Sable Brown and then the same eyeliner in the shade jet black on the upper waterline. As usual I finished off with a thin winged liner using Collection fast stroke eyeliner and Kiko's Ultra Tech curling mascara. I would love to see what looks you created for valentines, and if like me you're not doing anything on the day, then what are your plans?
Love Neelam xx
