I believe it was Rosanna from Rosanna Pierce who I first heard about the Makeup Revolution naked palettes. She always produces goregous looks on with products from the brand and really shows off the amazing quality of them. After I watched her video using this palette I knew I had to get one. It retails for £7.99 which I think is such a bargain for the quality of these shadows. I've been wanting to venture out into the shimmery shadows as I've seen many people being able to pull them off on a daily basis. The swatches of these shadows are incredibly pigmented and they all look gorgeous. Although when I first used them with a brush on my eyes, I wasn't as impressed. I felt the shimmery shades weren't as pigmented as I was hoping for and although I knew it wouldn't be as vibrant as the swatches, I still had high hopes. However, with a bit of playing around and the use of the right brush, I've fallen more in love with the palette. If you use a slightly more sturdy synthetic brush to apply the shimmers you can get them to really stand out. As for the matte shades, a normal fluffy brush is perfect. My favourite colour from this palette is Frosted Choc which looks quite dark, but in reality they're not that bad. To be quite honest, there are not a lot of colours in this palette that I would not wear which is great as I can feel myself reaching for this a lot! I have a makeup look that I created with this palette that I'll be posting next week.
