Beauty Haul #2

Firstly, I'd like to apologize for the fingerprints in some of the products, I just could not wait to use them! Ok, so as you can see I've bought quite a range of things in my January Beauty Haul. I skipped back to my once loved brand elf to purchase the eyebrow kit that I've heard and seen a lot of recently. I've used it once so far and it seems good, it gives a natural finish but still fills in your brows enough to make it look.. well, filled. I also purchased the cream blush and bronzer palette in St Lucia, that looks quite interesting. I've never tried cream based bronzer before and the one cream blush I do have, is more of a pressed powder than a cream formula. My first impression of it is that it's very pigmented as well as an extremely creamy formula. I haven't yet tried it on, as I've been having a few makeup free days. But I will definitely keep you updated!

Next was my trip to superdrug where I went in purely to browse, yep that never works! One of my new years resolutions is to wear lipsticks on a regular basis. So I decided I want to try out a new colour, I picked up the Rimmel Kate Moss lasting finish lipstick in shade number 16. It's a nice corally/pink colour that you could pull off wearing on a daily basis. I love these lipsticks as they don't feel too thick and they last a decent amount of time. They retail for £5.49. I also noticed that Superdrug had a deal on GOSH products, which I haven't really tried out before, so I took up the opportunity to try out their eyeliner, and boy do I love it! It's the Velvet touch eye liner which is usually £4.99 but I picked it up for £2. Bargain! It claims to be a waterproof eyeliner and although I haven't tried it on my bottom waterline, it definitely seems to be working well on my top waterline. It's a nice texture and doesn't feel too harsh. I would definitely pay full price for this product.

The Schwarzkopf hairspray was bought from my mum at a beauty suppliers shop, I believe she paid £2.99 for it, which is a decent price for the size. It seems to have a good hold on it and the smell isn't too strong.

Finally, my favourite shop, boots. I actually only picked up a few things from here. Firstly was the split remedy hair serum, my hair suffers a lot from heat which has resulted in a hell of a lot of split ends. As I'm trying to grow my hair, I wanted a product that will help reduce the visibility of my split ends as I know the only way to get rid of them is to cut them. This product has been working wonders so far and really does make my hair look much healthier. The consistency of the product is nice and easy to work with and doesn't make your hair hard like some gels and waxes do. I also got the I love lasting finish nail polish by Rimmel, which at the time was 2 for £4 (RRP £2.99). Most of my nail polishes have dried out or are not as smooth as they once were. I got these in Loafer love for you  and orange your life. I have noticed that they chip really easily, which is odd. But I'll have to give them a few more tries before I decide whether I like them or not. Finally, I got the new L'Oreal Paris Miss manga mascara in Black which was on offer for £6.99 (RRP £8.99). I haven't yet tried it as I am trying to use up my current mascaras but I will write up a review on it soon.

That is all  for this months beauty haul, I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know what your favourite buys were this month.
