2016 KIKO Haul

KIKO is fast becoming one of my favourite brands - there is so much variety and most of it is affordable. The products that I do have from KIKO are of very good quality. There's so much that I still want to get from there. I purchased these items in December and stupidly chucked the outer packaging away - which is a shame because the boxes were so beautiful and looked very expensive. These products are currently still in the sale so grab them while you can!
The Cream Radiance Highlighter is from the Midnight Siren range from KIKO. I typically prefer powder highlighters but I wanted to give this product a go because the colour, Twilight Gold, looked so pretty online! When I received the product I was amazed at the packaging. It's shaped as a ball and despite it being quite bulky, I think it's very unique! I'm not sure how deep the actual product goes, but if it's like any of the other highlighter that I own, I'm sure it will last a very long time! The colour is right up my alley, it's a nice warm, golden shade, that doesn't have chunky pieces of glitter to it. If used lightly it can add the perfect amount of sheen to your make-up look. It also comes with a mini mirror inside the lid, which I would say makes it ideal for travelling, but let's be real - it's a bit too bulky to pop in your make-up bag.
I have fallen in love with the blushes that I have from KIKO, they're pigmented and really long-lasting, so I wanted to try some more. I saw that the Rebel Bouncy Blush from the Rebel Romantic range were included in the sale and I thought I'd try two shades. I got 02 - Adorable Pink and 03 - Treasure Rose, which are both colours that I typically go for. The texture of these blushes are quite mousey but they give a nice sheen of colour to your cheeks. I find that you do have to build up a few layers before you get as much pigmentation as you would typically get with a powder blush, but I guess she sheer colour is what you should expect from a cream blush. The colours are both very pretty, but I do prefer the Adorable Pink shade.
Lipsticks from KIKO seem to be a hidden gem as I never hear many people talk about them. I find that they're really moisturising and are of great quality for the price! The Intensely Lavish Lipsticks, again from the Rebel Romantic range, were on sale for £3.90 and so I got 04 (left) 03 (right). The packaging for these lipsticks are so luxiourous and feel really expensive. I love that the lid has a magnetic close - very satisfying! The lipstick itself is so pigmented which you can see in the swatch that just shows one layer! I haven't actually worn them to know how well they last but they do feel quite moisturising.
Love Always,
Neelam xx
