New In At New Look for AW15 - All Under £30!

One thing that excites me the most about winter is all the new fashion trends that come out, from sparkly, festive dresses to cosy, warm jumpers. It's a great way of cheering yourself up when it's cold and gloomy outside! I've seen a lot of gorgeous new trends out there for AW15 and I thought I'd share with you a few things I've seen at New Look recently.

1. Gold Metallic Zig Zag Bodycon Dress - £14.99
I never used to see the appeal of extremely glittery clothing, but this year I've seen a lot of gorgeous pieces that I can't take my eyes off - including this dress. It's such a bargain for £14.99 and would be perfect for any Christmas/New Year parties you have coming up. Because it's so affordable, you don't feel like you're breaking the bank for something you'd probably only wear a few times! I saw this dress in the shop and have to admit it looked tiny - but as it has got a lot of embellishment, it won't draw as much attention to the areas you may want to hide.

2. Black Tartan Check Mini Skirt - £19.99
I feel like Tartan is one of those trends that will always be acceptable to wear in the winter. I think this skirt is such a classic and staple piece to have in your wardrobe. You could easily wear this with or without tights and a pair of black boots! I love that these mini skirts are in, I've seen so many different designs out there and think they look so flattering!

For me, fur collars are hit or miss. Sometimes I like them, sometimes I find them so damn annoying. Which is why having a fur collar like his is ideal! I have a leather jacket that I love to wear all year round, but I love the look of fur collared jackets, so I could easily add this on to my existing jacket without having to buy a whole new jacket. I like that this is nice and big to keep you warm too.

I really like the colour combination in this dress, so autumnal. I would happily wear this to work or an evening out for drinks/meal. I'm not sure if the horizontal stripes would be flattering on me as I have quite wide hips (well love handles if I'm honest) which I don't want to draw attention to. I think it's such a sophisticated dress.

Another party/evening item. This playsuit is so simple yet would look gorgeous with gold jewellery and some gold sparkly shoes! Because it's quite a short piece, it would make your legs look longer and lean which is always a bonus.

6. Stone Leather-Look Suedette trim jacket - £29.99
This jacket is so different to something I would normally go for but I think it's nice and classy. It also comes in Black and Shell Pink. But I personally prefer it in the colour stone! I think it looks a lot more expensive than £30! The model on the website wore this jacket with a casual outfit - jeans and a nice top, which I thought looked really nice.

7. Tan Western Block Heel Chelsea Boots £24.99
I always find it difficult to find a pair of boots that suit me as I have quite skinny ankles and I hate having a huge gap in my boots. I know that if I try these they would give a huge gap but I absolutely adore the style and colour of these boots. I think they would look cute with jeans on a more casual outfit or even with a nice day dress! They're not bad for £24.99 either.

8. Black Floral Print Pencil Skirt - £14.99
My friend has a skirt similar to this and she looks so good in it. She pairs it up with a black black crop top, which I think is perfect. You could also tuck in a swing cami top and it would look perfect. I lie the pattern of this skirt, it's bold but there's not too much going on that it stands out in a crowded room.

I would love to know what items you've been loving from New Look and which of the above is your favourite!

Love Always,
Neelam
