Hands down to NYX for creating such a brilliant lip selection. I never really was into lip glosses until I came across the glosses from NYX and I have to say I'm fully converted! I love the round lip glosses by NYX but I've recently been enjoying the Butter Glosses and thought I would share with you the few I have. Now mine are all form Cherry Culture, where they are a slight bit cheaper than the NYX offical website, however you should keep an eye out on the shipping costs! They all have a phenomenal colour pay off which I was pleasently surprised about. Lip glosses are often renowned for applying on top of a lipstick to give that extra shine but these look stunning on their own!
Strawberry Parfait
This colour is a nice pinky purple. Looking at the packaging, I wouldn't have thought that this colour would suit me, but on my lips it comes up as a slight purple tinted natural colour. I wouldn't say my lips are dark, but I reckon it would look a bit more brighter on people with fairer skin or lighter pigmented lips. I do love this colour though, I think it would be perfect for the Winter.
Peach Cobbler
I would say this as far as Orange as I could be comfortable with. It's subtle enough that it almost looks like a pinky/red. I would team this with a light shimmery eye look - maybe something with a touch of Gold. It seems fairly bright when you initially put it on, but you only have to blend it slightly to make it more wearable.
Vanilla Cream Pie
Probably my favourite of the bunch, it's such an easy pink to wear. Reminds me a lot of the Round Lipgloss that NYX do in the shade Pinky Natural (also a fav!). It's nice and girly but doesn't look like a Barbie/Pastel Pink. You could team this colour with a lot of looks, but I think it's the ideal colour for a heavy/dark smokey eye look.
Peaches and Cream
Peaches and Cream is very similar to Vanilla Cream Pie but more brighter and a touch of neon to it. Again, if you apply a small amount it becomes very wearable. But if you want something more brighter then apply a few coats to get a nice pinky peach colour. I'm actually growing to like this colour a lot, it brightens up a simple everyday look. If you find Vanilla Cream Pie too boring for you then definitley try this colour.

The first blusher is a fairly recent purchase that I got from e.l.f. cosmetics (see the post here). I have so many of the studio line blushers but I thought I would try out the baked blush range (£3.95) as I've never really tried a baked blush before. I got the shade Passion Pink, which I absolutely love, it has swirls of a fairly bright pink surrounded by a slightly shimmery mauvey-pink. The shimmer isn't too overpowering so it is easily wearable during the day. The packaging could do with a little improvement but hey, if the product is good who cares about the packaging!
I then decided to take with me a blush that I love but for some reason don't reach for as much. It is the MUA blusher in the shade Cupcake - how adorable! I have the shade bon bon which I do think I prefer, however this is a nice subtle colour that adds just a tad bit of colour to my cheeks. As a girl with medium toned skin, the colour isn't as pigmented on me as some of my other blushers, but I do like to wear it when I have gone quite heavy on contouring and bronzing, or if I'm wearing a bold lip colour as I don't like to have too many things going on at once. It's a nice soft formula that doesn't cake up on the skin but doesn't leave much of a dewy finish. It is just the right consistency. And if you're on a budget then this is perfect for you because it is only £1!
Lastly, is another recent purchase from NYX cosmetics (haul post here) and it is my first Cream Blush (£5.50) in the shade Natural. Despite the shade name, the colour is actually quite a pinky shade but a very wearable one. I cannot believe how much I love the formula, it is so smooth and easy to blend on the skin. It leaves a very slight dewy effect but nothing that looks unnatural. It's also extremely pigmented and a little definitely goes a long way. This blush wins best packaging out of the three, it reminds me of the mac packaging.
I love all three of these blushers and I am definitely looking to try out some new shades in the near future! If you have any shade recommendations then please let me know in the comments below!

Firstly, I am so pleased with the delivery service! I ordered around 11 o'clock on Thursday evening and got an email from nyx saying my parcel will be delivered on Monday. Of course I wasn't expecting to receive the parcel on Friday, nor was I expecting it to arrive on the weekend as they stated clearly that they would deliver on weekdays. On Friday, I got a text from the courier service, interlink, also saying it'll arrive on Monday and if I wanted it to be delivered to a neighbour or on a different day. I live in student accommodation so there's always someone to sign off for my parcels. So on Monday morning I received a final text from interlink letting me know that the parcel wil arrive from a specific driver between a certain time slot, and they were spot on! So I got my parcels uber quick!
Finally, on to the products. The first product ,as I mentioned before, was the full coverage concealer in orange. The colour is meant to counteract any dark circles, which I constantly have. I know that mac have a similar product and even though my mum uses it, I wanted to try a cheaper option - £6. I'll do a review on this soon and see if it does the job.
The second item I wanted to try out is the make-up setting spray in matte for £8. They have the dewy version but I have combination skin so it tends to look naturally dewy. I've never really tried a setting spray before, I think I have an elf one but never really gave it a chance to work. I'm hoping this will work well in the summer when my skin is particularly oily.
After I got the essentials I thought why not spend up to £30 to get free delivery? So I got browsing and found the slim lip pencils. I've seen so many YouTubers and beauty bloggers rave about and I couldn't not try them out. I always buy two shades if I'm not sure of the colour I'd like so that I'm more likely to like at least one - weird I know. So I bought one in the shade ever and the other in Bloom. They come out so pigmented and even though I don't have a lipstick the colour of Bloom, I still love them both.
I then decided to try out the Round Lip Glosses. I'm not a lip gloss fan at all but I've seen reviews on these talking about how there not so sticky to normal lip glosses. Damn right they're not! I love them so much, they may have converted me to a lipgloss-kinda-gal. I got them in the shade Pinky Natural and Apricot.
Last, but not least, I picked out the cream blush in Natural. I only have one cream blush and that's from elf, but it's not a creamy texture at all. This however is exactly what you would expect from a cream blush. It does take a while to get used to but once you master the power of blending it out, it looks beautiful!
That is all I got from nyx this time round, however I'm so impressed with the quality and pigment of the products that I will definitely be revisiting the site to try out more products soon! A lot of you may have heard of NYX cosmetics and for those of you who live in the UK, know that they don't sell in local drugstores (as far as I know). I've heard a lot of good things about their LSS - Round lipsticks and I was blown away when I saw their colour range
The only problem I had was choosing my colours, normally I complain that there isn't a big enough range to choose from, but I actually found it more difficult to choose from a larger range as a lot of colours looked so similar! As if this wasn't bad enough, after watching a few youtube videos and looking at swatches, I realised that the colours that they show on the NYX website wasn't as accurate as I thought. Of course this is normally always the case when you're buying online but I found that in some swatches the colours are really far off what they actually are! I literally spent a whole day choosing colours, which was a huge pain! Anyway, I choose my 6 which I will show you along with swatches in a moment, but first let me show you how they were delivered.
This package was popped into a small brown, bubble wrapped lined envelope. So it was well wrapped and none of the lipsticks were damaged in any way, so big thumbs up to the seller! And this is how they look..

First impressions, I love the packaging! The fact that the colour at the bottom matches the actual colour of the lipstick is great because I can stack them upside down so it makes it easier for me to pick out the colour I want.
